The New Release is GREAT - Woo Hoo!!
Yesterday, I noticed that you had posted the new release. It is fantastic. The start-up time (w/ File Scan=0) is now a matter of 5 seconds, instead of the previous 45-60 seconds.
The picture display is also superb. I particularly like the differing border colors and the fact that small pictures are displayed in differing areas of the screen. This will eliminate any concerns for wide screen plasma owners like me (or even CRT owners). Without re-reading your change log, I'm not sure of what all is being done here, but it works great for me.
I did not D/L your tagging feature, as I scrupulously maintain my 20,000+ file tags (IIRC) with MP3 Tag Studio.
After downloading and transferring the new .exe file, I had a temporary problem when Blue Orchid scanned for changes in the music files -- it got stuck in an endless loop of searching for changed files. I simply changed the name of the old database file (i.e. backed it up), and let Blue Orchid scan and create a new one from scratch. It now scans properly.
Thanks again for all the work!!! This is certainly the best MP3 music player on the market for my purposes.

Glad it's working for ya I'm also happy to hear that your startup times are better and that the picture display meets your needs. I must say that I've really grown to like the picture effect too, even on 4x3 displays. The next planned feature is going to be some kind of playlist support, which I feel is seriously absent at this point. Stay tuned!
